Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of Amrutkaal ("we", "us") — the public
panchang website at www.amrutkaal.com and the
signed-in app at app.www.amrutkaal.com. By using the
service, you agree to these Terms.
1. What we provide
- A daily panchang for Indian cities, computed from astronomical data using Swiss Ephemeris with Lahiri ayanamsa.
- A personal Janam Kundli generated from your birth details.
- An AI Vedic astrologer chat that gives readings based on your chart.
- Reference content on Hindu festivals, shubh muhurat, and daily transits.
2. Astrology disclaimer
All Kundli readings, AI astrologer responses, and muhurat recommendations on Amrutkaal are for guidance and informational purposes only. They are interpretive — not predictive — and must not be treated as professional advice.
Specifically, we expressly disclaim that the service constitutes:
- Medical advice. Consult a qualified physician for any health concern.
- Legal advice. Consult a licensed advocate.
- Financial or investment advice. Consult a SEBI-registered advisor.
- A definitive recommendation for marriage, career, relocation, or other major life decisions. Use your own judgment.
We bear no responsibility for outcomes arising from your decisions based on astrological readings.
3. Your responsibilities
When using Amrutkaal you agree that:
- You are 18 years of age or older.
- The birth details you enter are truthful and your own.
- You won't enter other people's data without their permission.
- You won't use the service for fraud, abuse, harassment, spam, or any unlawful purpose.
- You won't attempt to bypass technical limits (rate limits, automation, scraping).
- You'll keep your account credentials secure and not share access.
4. Free use and limits
The service is currently free, with the following limits per user:
- 5 free AI astrologer chats per day.
- No limit on Kundli generation or panchang viewing.
We may introduce paid tiers (more chats, premium reports) in the future. If we do, you'll be notified in advance and free-tier functionality you currently enjoy will continue.
5. Intellectual property
The Amrutkaal name, logo, design, brand assets, and software are our intellectual property. You may not copy, redistribute, or create derivative products from these without our written permission.
The kundli data you generate and the questions you ask remain your property. We use them only to provide the service (see Privacy Policy).
6. Termination
- You may delete your account at any time. Email hello@amrutkaal.com.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms (abuse, fraud, automated scraping).
- Upon termination, your data is handled per the Privacy Policy.
7. Limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Panchang values are computed from astronomical algorithms and may differ from local pandits or other almanacs by a few seconds to minutes due to time-zone conventions and ayanamsa choices.
To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability in any matter shall not exceed ₹1,000 (one thousand rupees).
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Amrutkaal harmless from claims, damages, or losses arising from your misuse of the service or your violation of these Terms.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we'll notify signed-in users 30 days in advance via email or in-app banner. Continued use after the change date constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
10. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
